Do you want to experience everything Gatebil has to offer? Then camping is a must!
Here you will find information and rules of procedure that are important to follow in order for everyone to have a good experience at the Camping area.
NO ADVANCE BOOKING
All Gatebil festivals have large camping areas where everyone can fit in. Groups that wish to stand together are asked to arrive at Gatebil at the same time, alternatively to hold a place for the people in the group who arrive later.
CAMPING IS INCLUDED IN YOUR FESTIVAL TICKET
All festival ticket holders can camp for free. Caravans are allowed, but a “car pass” is required for the towing vehicle and all vehicles on the campsite.
Example: If three friends arrive in one car towing a caravan, each friend needs a festival ticket. Only one car pass is required for the towing vehicle, and it will cover the entire stay at Gatebil.
CAMPING OPPORTUNITIES
The Festival Camp and Race Camp are right by the track, so close you’ll wake up to the smell of tire smoke and the sound of roaring engines.
For teams, we offer an asphalted depot area with electricity access. These spots are limited, and some are pre-reserved by Gatebil, prioritizing long-standing competing teams to create a well-organized, visitor-friendly depot.
The festival campsite has a lively atmosphere in the evenings. For a quieter option, there’s a family camping area along the road to Skänninge by the main entrance. Family camp spots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
SHOWERS AND WC
On the area map for Gatebil, you will find markings where there are showers and toilets.
AFTERTRACK
On all Gatebils, there is Aftertrack in the evening. The aftertrack offers concerts, shows and DJ gigs on the large outdoor stage. All visitors over 18 with a festival ticket have access to the Aftertrack.
RULES
- CLEAN YOUR CAMPSITE: Keep your area clean during the festival, and leave it as you found it. Large items like sofas, refrigerators, and broken caravans must not be left behind. Collect all trash in garbage bags for our cleaning staff to handle.
- FIRE, GLASS AND DRIVING RULES: Barbecues are allowed unless noted, but glass bottles are prohibited due to the risk of broken glass. All vehicles should be driven at walking speed.
- PARK YOUR CAR: No car movement is allowed on the campsite after 21:00. Vehicles may only be driven when arriving or leaving, and engine revving is prohibited.
- SECURITY: Security guards and police ensure a safe environment. Fire department and infirmary are available 24/7—see the area map for locations.
- MUSIC: The festival area must be quiet after 02:00. In the family campsite, loud music is not allowed, and complete quiet is required after 20:00.

Gatebil is all about the thrill of open track sessions for both track-ready and street cars—just as it’s always been! To make sure everyone finds their perfect fit, we’ve tailored sessions to suit different car types, ambition levels, and driving styles. Here’s a full rundown of the driving experiences you can expect at the Gatebil Season Finale at Mantorp Park.
STRAIGHT LINE
This group is for those who want to test their car’s speed and handling on the track—without drifting. Bring your sports car, modified car, or even your old GTI to improve lap times or simply experience high-speed driving legally. Drifting is strictly not allowed here; if you’re interested in drifting, choose a different group!
OPEN LINE
Perfect for beginners looking to drift around corners. In Open Line, you can drift in turns with a bit more space between cars for a safer, smoother experience. However, drifting on the straights or using the handbrake to initiate corners is not allowed. For experienced drifters, the Drift Line group may be a better fit.
DRIFT LINE ROOKIE
Ideal for those eager to drift across the entire course. This group is perfect for building skills without needing 1000 horsepower or professional experience. Enjoy drifting all the way around the track!
DRIFT LINE PRO
For advanced, fast-paced drifting enthusiasts. This group is reserved for professional drivers who drift with precision and minimal distance between cars. If you have a drift license and a powerful car, Drift Line PRO is for you!

DO YOU WANT TO STAY AT A HOTEL?
Search for hotels in Mjölby, a small village just 10 minutes by car from Mantorp Park. There is also the possibility of several hotels in Linköping, which is about 20 minutes north of Mantorp Park.
Mantorp Park
Mantorp Park is located right along the E4, between Mjölby and Linköping in Östergötland. Take exit no. 110 if you come by car on the E4. Continue a few hundred meters towards Skänninge (pass Circle K on the right), and the main entrance is on the left. Most trains stop in Linköping, and many in Mjölby. From these two cities there are commuter trains to Mantorp. There is an airport in Linköping, but unless you fly KLM or SAS, we recommend Stockholm-Skavsta in Nyköping where many low-cost flights fly to.
