P.s. Remember that to receive your prize, you have to attend the Gatebil Award Ceremony that will take place on Sunday, 7.07. at 12:00 at Gatebil Taxi tent area. No prizes can or will be sent or delivered by others to the participants afterwards. We are doing this to create fair competition! 😉

2. After approval, you will receive an email and a link to purchase your Showgarden Car Pass for a special price. These tickets are available only for Showgarden approved cars and will cost 250 NOK and will be available only up to Thursday. Starting from Friday, July 5 there will only be regular carpass for 650 NOK available. You yourself need a festival ticket and these are the same tickets as always.
   
   What to do if I did not buy the ticket on time, but arrive to the festival and still want to show off my car?
   – buy a regular carpass at the gates for 650 NOK and ask for the special Showgarden entrance sticker. When arrive at the Showgarden area (Go-kart track) find Meguiars stand and get your profile sorted out on Gatebil.no/vote.
3. Upon arrival, our entrance staff will refer you to the exhibition area, where Meguiars staff will help you find a great spot to showcase your car. You will receive a Showgarden sticker to place on your windscreen and a paper page to fill out info about your car.

This year we need all cars to be pre-registred and pre-approved. 

We reserve the rights to decline your application, if you have not been registred at least 3 days before the festival, same as if you arrive at the festival without pre-registration we can not guarantee you a spot.

Voting will be open from 05.07.2024. 9:00 to 7.07.2024 10:00 Voting happens only for category People´s Choice. All the rest of the nominations will be decided by a jury.

To showcase your car at Showgarden, you have to have an interesting car and a weekend ticket to the chosen Gatebil festival for you and a special Showgarden Car Pass for your car. (You will not need the regular car pass for your car). You will receive a link to purchase this ticket for 250 NOK after registration and approval by Gatebil staff in a separate email.

GENERAL INFO FOR PARTICIPANTS

1. Register your car by adding all necessary information:
   Title (mostly Car model)
   Event (pick which event you are attending)
   Owner(write your name and surname)

   Info(Add some more info about your car. Details about buying it, building it, changing it)
   Thanks to(add info about everyone who has helped you to buy it/make it/ rebuild it)
   
   Add picture under “Featured image” so that your post would have a main picture
   Add additional photos in Gallery

1. After receiving an approval email, make sure you have a ticket for you(festivalbillett) and your car (Showgarden Car Pass).
2. Meet up at Gatebil and ask our marshals for guidance to the designated territory. On Friday at 08:00 Gates open for Showgarden participants in Showgarden area.
3. Get your Showgarden window card + Showgarden sticker for your car and place it on the front window of your car.
4. Enjoy Gatebil Festival every day up until Sunday 12:00 and join Award ceremony that will take place at Taxi stage. Remember that to receive your prize, you have to attend the Gatebil Award Ceremony that will take place on Sunday at 12:00 at Gatebil Taxi tent area.

SOCIAL MEDIA

1. It is strictly forbidden to post information with voting link via your or your friends social media. If we will see your post or will be informed of such occurrence, you might be disqualified from the voting process with no notice given to you.

CAMPING FOR SHOWGARDEN PARTICIPANTS

1. There is no special place to camp for Showgarden participants other than designated festival camps that are the same for all Gatebil visitors. You can pick between Family camp and Party Camp. 
2. It is not allowed to camp next to your car.

We invite you to probably the most special car parade in the world – GATEBIL ALL CARS PARADE!
At every festival we have a special Gatebil Car parade and all Showgarden participants are welcome to join our Parade to go for one lap around the race track.

INFO FOR DRIVERS:

Participants gather in a line to enter the track 15 minutes before Parade starts and be ready to enter the track at right after Gatebil Extreme has completed their practice. We make a formation in three lines. It is important to follow Gatebil Crew notifications. We will drive slowly and stop to gather in the long straight in front of spectators to take a picture. It is allowed to exit cars at this point for the picture. After the photo is taken, pay attention to Gatebil CREW and get in the car. When everyone is in their cars we roll further exit the track!

It is allowed:

• It is allowed to have a passenger to the parade. As this is slow driving, helmets are not required (only if you want them in the photo).
• It is allowed to use flags, smoke grenades, another attributes.
• All Streetcar cars are invited – Extreme, Drift, Straight Line and showgarden cars!

It is strictly prohibited:

• Driving past GATEBIL Taxis
• to drive fast,
• Do “burnouts”, “launch” or any other high sound made by the car
• drive sideways

If someone participates in the parade and does not follow any of the rules, specially sound – they will loose their festival ticket and will be asked to leave the festival area immediately, as well as if there will be any fines issued from Rudskogen Racetrack to Gatebil AS, the fine will be further issued to the participant that did not follow the rules.

Can I participate in voting by just arriving and parking my car in the Showgarden area?	To participate in the voting, you have to be registered online: https://gatebil.no/vote/
Can I camp next to my car?	No, you can pick one of the designated camping areas.
Do I have to participate on all days to be part of voting process?	Yes, you have to participate from Friday to Sunday.
Can I receive my prize if I am not participating on the last day of the event?	No, if you are not attending, you lose your prize, though information about your victory will still be published on Gatebil.no and probably on Facebook.
Can I publish voting information on my socials to gain more votes?	It is strictly forbidden to post information with voting link via your or your friends social media. If we will see your post or will be informed of such occurrence, you might be disqualified from the voting process with no notice given to you. You are allowed to invite people to visit showgarden area via your socials and by scanning QR code to vote for your car.
Can I arrive each day and leave in the evening?	Yes, that is allowed, but we don’t guarantee your place in the Showgarden area, if you have left for the night.
Can I take my car to the camping area every evening?	Yes, that is allowed, but we don’t guarantee your place in the Showgarden area, if you have left for the night, and we don’t suggest that, as in party camp there are a lot of partying happening and no one can guarantee safety of your car from drunk people. 🙂
Can I advertise to the festival spectators my car and ask them to vote for it at the event?	Yes, for sure!
Can I bring flags, posters, banners with me?	Yes, all of that will look specially good on Showgarden Parade taking place on Friday!
