Dear Gatebil Community,
It is with deep regret that we must share some disappointing news. Gatebil Germany, set to take place at Circuit Meppen from August 21-24, 2025, will unfortunately not go ahead as planned due to unforeseen issues that prevent us from moving forward with the event.
This is not the outcome we had hoped for. Our entire team, together with our partners Circuit Meppen, Rymax Lubricants, and Fredric Aasbø, have worked tirelessly to bring this event to life. We know many of you were looking forward to experiencing Gatebil in Germany for the first time, and we share your disappointment.
All ticket holders will receive a full refund, which will be processed immediately. Further details regarding refunds will be shared via email to those who have bought a ticket.
While this is a setback, it does not mark the end of our vision. The passion for drifting and automotive culture in Europe is undeniable, and we remain committed to bringing Gatebil outside of Scandinavia in the future. We appreciate your support and will keep you updated on what comes next, as we have now tasted the excitement of bringing Gatebil to other great places.
Thank you for believing in this project. We hope to see you at our Gatebil events in Norway and Sweden soon and, in time, at Gatebil somewhere in Europe when we make it happen!

1. Why is Gatebil Germany 2025 canceled?
Unfortunately, we encountered unforeseen licensing and permit issues related to the track and the festival. Due to these legal restrictions, we are unable to proceed with the event as planned and cannot guarantee the quality that we stand for.
2. Will I get a refund for my ticket?
Yes, all ticket holders will receive a full refund. This process will be initiated immediately.
3. How and when will I receive my refund?
You will receive an email within the next few days with further details about the refund process. Depending on your payment method, it may take a few business days for the amount to be credited back to your account.
4. Will there be another Gatebil event in Germany?
At this moment, we do not have a new location in Germany, but we are actively exploring opportunities to bring Gatebil to other locations outside Scandinavia.
5. Where can I still experience Gatebil?
Gatebil hosts multiple events in Norway and Sweden. You can find all event dates and locations at Gatebil.no. We would love to meet you at one of our amazing existing events.
6. I booked travel and accommodation for the event. Will these costs be reimbursed?
Unfortunately, we cannot cover costs beyond the ticket price. We recommend reaching out to your accommodation provider or travel agency to check if cancellations or refunds are possible.
7. How can I stay updated on future Gatebil events?
