Want to experience everything Gatebil has to offer? Camping is a must!
Here you’ll find important information and campsite regulations that must be followed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

NO PRE-BOOKING
All Gatebil festivals have large camping areas where there is space for everyone. Groups who wish to camp together are asked to arrive at Gatebil at the same time, or alternatively reserve space for members of the group who arrive later.

CAMPING IS INCLUDED IN THE FESTIVAL TICKET
All festival ticket holders can camp free of charge. Caravans are permitted, but a “vehicle pass” is required for the towing vehicle and all vehicles entering the campsite.

Example: If three friends arrive in one car towing a caravan, each friend needs a festival ticket. Only one vehicle pass is required for the towing vehicle, and it covers the entire stay at Gatebil.

CAMPING OPTIONS
Festival Camp and Race Camp are located right next to the track – so close that you’ll wake up to the smell of tire smoke and the sound of roaring engines.

For teams, we offer a paved paddock area with access to electricity. These spots are limited, and some are pre-reserved by Gatebil, which prioritizes teams that have competed for many years in order to create a well-organized and visitor-friendly paddock.

The Festival Camp has a lively atmosphere in the evenings. If you prefer a quieter option, there is a family camping area located along the road toward Skänninge by the main entrance. Family camping spots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Showers and Toilets
On the Gatebil area map, you will find markings indicating where showers and toilets are located.

AFTERTRACK
All Gatebils offer Aftertrack in the evening. Aftertrack offers concerts, shows and DJ performances on the large outdoor stage. All visitors over the age of 18 with a festival ticket have access to Aftertrack.

RULES

1. MUSIC: There must be silence in the festival area after 01.00 02.00. At the family campsite, loud music is not permitted, and there must be complete silence after 22.00 20.00.
2. CLEANING THE CAMPSITE: Keep your area clean during the festival and leave it as you found it. Large items such as sofas, refrigerators, and broken caravans must not be left behind. Collect all trash in garbage bags so our cleaning staff can take care of it.
3. RULES FOR FIRES, GLASS AND DRIVING: Grilling is permitted unless otherwise stated, but glass bottles are prohibited due to the risk of broken glass. All vehicles must be driven at walking speed.
4. PARK YOUR CAR: It is not permitted to drive on the campsite after 22.00 21.00. Vehicles may only be driven upon arrival and departure, and driving with the engine at high revs is prohibited.
5. SAFETY: Security personnel and police ensure a safe environment. Fire services and a medical station are available 24/7 – please refer to the area map for locations.

Drängarna delivers a pure, uncompromising party – no finishing touches, just full throttle and sing-alongs from the first second. At Gatebil, you’ll get exactly the vibe you want: hands in the air, beer in plastic cups and a sea of people screaming along to every chorus.
In short: if you like parties, punch and songs you already know by heart – then you should be in the audience.

Direktören & Kaptene
Direktören & Kaptenen deliver a party with a twinkle in their eye – catchy beats, humor and sing-alongs that hit from the first drop. With songs like SOS and BUBBLE they have become a regular feature at vors, nach and festivals where the atmosphere should be on top all night.

Gatebil has exactly the energy you want: the bass is pumping, people are dancing hard, and the choruses are so loose that the whole crowd joins in. This is the sound of warm nights and memories you might not quite remember the next day.

BEK & MOBERG
Bek och Moberg are the kind of party that just builds and builds – from the first beat to total chaos. They deliver a mix of hard drops and melodies that settle immediately, and suddenly the whole gang is singing as if you’ve heard the songs for years.

When they take to the stage at Gatebil, it’s all about one thing: losing control in the best possible way. The lights flash, the bass beats heavily, and the atmosphere goes from good to crazy in no time. These are the moments when everyone is jumping at the same time, arms in the air and no one really wants it to stop.

Det Där Bandet
Det Där Bandet is making a comeback and bringing an unbeatable atmosphere. Expect songs guaranteed to make the crowd explode.

DJ Jonas Vogel
Jonas Vogel delivers club atmosphere at a high level – with over ten years behind the DJ booth and experience from both Swedish top clubs and international scenes such as Ministry of Sound, Es Paradis and Bora Bora Ibiza.

His sets build with precision – from groovy vibes to heavy drops that hit hard, and an energy that gets the whole crowd moving to the beat. With a background of successes such as Swedish Heat and collaborations with Filip Jenvén, as well as remixes for artists such as Ace Wilder, he knows exactly what it takes to lift the mood.

– Access to Aftertrack is included in festival tickets for visitors over 18 years of age.
– Aftertrack tickets are not sold separately.
– Day ticket holders do not have access to Aftertrack.

Gatebil goes beyond track driving. At each Gatebil event, we also organize a spectacular car show in collaboration with ARN Racing and Meguiars at the Mantorp Park events. The Gatebil Showgarden will be open from Friday to Sunday during the festival. Who can join?
Anyone who is proud of their car can apply! Submit your application at gatebil.no/vote.

STRAIGHT LINE
This group is for those who want to test their car’s speed and handling on the track – without drifting. Bring your sports car, modified car or even your old GTI to improve lap times or just experience legal high-speed driving. Drifting er strengt tatt ikke tillatt her; hvis du er interessert i drifting, må du velge en annen gruppe!

OPEN LINE
Perfect for beginners who want to drift around corners. In Open Line, you can drift around corners with a little more space between cars for a safer and smoother experience. However, drifting on the straights or using the handbrake to start corners is not allowed. For erfarne driftere kan Drift Line-gruppen passe bedre.

DRIFT LINE ROOKIE
Ideal for those eager to drift all over the course. This group is perfect for building skills without needing 1000 horsepower or professional experience. Enjoy drifting all the way around the track!

DRIFT LINE PRO
For advanced, fast-paced drifting enthusiasts. This group is reserved for professional drivers who drive with precision and minimal distance between cars. If you have a drifting license and a powerful car, Drift Line PRO is for you!

REQUIREMENTS FOR DRIVER, EQUIPMENT AND VEHICLE:
Valid driver’s license
Driver suit (FIA approval not required)
Helmet
The vehicle you are driving must be in good technical condition at Gatebil
Must register for track driving at the secretariat
The vehicle must pass a technical inspection on site (mandatory for track driving)
Attend the driver’s briefing before going out on track

The Road Traffic Act applies. The legal blood alcohol limit is 0. Random checks may be carried out by both the police and track representatives.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE VEHICLE FOR DRIVING ON THE STREET:
The car must undergo a technical inspection. This checks that the car is fit to be on the track. Bilen må være det:

– Cleared of all loose items.
– In generally good condition where everything is well attached.
– Be equipped with lights in accordance with the Road Traffic Act or applicable regulations for the vehicle type/class.
– Whole and neat, all body parts must be intact and in the same color.
– With no leaks from the engine, gearbox, cooling, brakes or dampers.
– An open wastegate is not permitted.
– The rear bumper must be mounted lower than the center of the wheel.
– The wheels must not protrude beyond the screens.
– There should be no moving parts protruding unprotected from the hood (pulley, etc.).
– The convertible must be driven with the roof closed and have sufficient rollover protection.

There is a limit of 100dB at all Gatebil Festivals. This is checked both technically and while driving. Violation of noise on the track results in a response flag. Gjentatte brudd kan resultere i nektelse av adgang til banen.

We kickstart the evening with some of Scandinavia’s most spectacular builds as all the Showgarden cars roll out onto the track with ARN Racing leading the way.
A parade packed with unique builds, extreme projects and pure car passion.

EXTREME SUPERSTAGE
Five laps. Short circuit. Full attack from start to finish.
Whether you follow Gatebil Extreme or you’re seeing the cars for the very first time – this is racing you don’t want to miss.

BREISLADDEN FINAL
One of Gatebil’s biggest and most iconic competitions finally gets the spotlight it deserves.

When the crowd is at its biggest and the atmosphere is at its peak, the best drivers will battle it out in the Breisladden Final.
Expect extreme angles, massive tire smoke and a show worthy of a Saturday night at Gatebil.

FMX & UTV STUNTSHOW
No real Gatebil evening is complete without something absolutely wild.
Western Chaos is on site delivering a stunt show packed with height, speed and adrenaline.

FREDRIC AASBØ & JOCKE OLSSON
A world champion, drifting icon and true Gatebil legend together with perhaps Sweden’s biggest hype-man.

They will guide you through the evening and make sure the Paris corner is on fire from the first minute to the last.
And you think that’s everything we have planned?

Not even close.

GATEBIL EXTREME
Gatebil Extreme is Gatebil’s own Time Attack and racing series, with everything from home-built budget cars to fully professional former factory cars taking part. The series follows the FIA’s safety requirements, but otherwise you are almost free to do whatever you want with the car, and several have engines of over an incredible 1000 horses. Gatebil Extreme was started in 2005 and since then over 200 cars/drivers have participated.

EXTREME TIME ATTACK
In Time Attack, it’s best lap time that counts. Here, the track is open for 45 minutes, where participants can choose to drive only 1 lap, or 18 which is the maximum allowed. Anyone can drive into the pits or pit lane at any time to change tires and adjust the car, and out on the track again to try to drive even faster. There are 5 races in the series, 1 at each festival. The times from the Extreme Time Attack provide the starting line-up for the Extreme Race.

EXTREME RACE
Extreme Race is a racing series with a joint start and first to finish. How many laps – varies depending on which track you are competing on – Vålerbanen, Mantorp park or Rudskogen. There are 10 races in the series, 2 at each festival.

Mantorp Park is located right along the E4, between Mjölby and Linköping in Östergötland. Take exit no. 110 if you come by car on the E4. Continue a few hundred meters towards Skänninge (pass Circle K on the right), and the main entrance is on the left. Most trains stop in Linköping, and many in Mjölby. From these two cities there are commuter trains to Mantorp. There is an airport in Linköping, but unless you fly KLM or SAS, we recommend Stockholm-Skavsta in Nyköping where many low-cost flights fly to.

DO YOU WANT TO STAY AT A HOTEL?
Search for hotels in Mjölby, a small village just 10 minutes by car from Mantorp Park. There is also the possibility of several hotels in Linköping, which is about 20 minutes north of Mantorp Park.
