Camping Options
The Gatebil Camp offers spaces for everyone. You can choose from the following options:
- Festival Camp: Located right by the track, where you can wake up to the sound of roaring engines and the smell of tire smoke.
- Race Camp: Ideal for teams, with an asphalted depot area with limited spots and electricity access. Priority is given to long-standing competing teams.
- Family Camp: A quieter option located near the main entrance, perfect for families. Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Facilities and Amenities
- Showers and Toilets: Facilities are conveniently marked on the Gatebil area map for easy access.
- Aftertrack Events: As night falls, Gatebil comes alive with Aftertrack concerts, DJ gigs, and entertainment on the large outdoor stage. Open to all visitors aged 18+ with a festival ticket.
Camping Rules
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please follow these guidelines:
- Music: The festival camp quiets down after 02:00, while the family camp requires silence after 20:00.
- Keep It Clean: Leave your campsite tidy. All waste should be bagged for collection, and large items like furniture or appliances must not be left behind.
- Safety First: Barbecues are allowed unless restricted, but glass bottles are prohibited. Vehicles must be driven at walking speed.
- Parking and Driving: No car movement is permitted after 21:00. Vehicles can only be driven upon arrival or departure, and revving engines is not allowed.
- Security: Security guards and police patrol the area to ensure a safe environment. Fire and medical services are available 24/7—refer to the map for locations.
No Advance Booking
Gatebil Camp has plenty of space for everyone, but camping spots are first-come, first-served. Groups wishing to camp together should arrive at the same time or save spots for later arrivals.
