When the Gatebil Season Finale takes place at Mantorp Park on September 5-7, the season ends with a competition that already raises great expectations. Gatebil Drift Battle is back at Mantorp Park – and in 2025 we will take the competition to the next level. With a new set-up, a bigger prize pool and a starting field full of both new talent and established stars, Gatebil aims to create a drifting competition unlike any other.
GDB is what Gatebil represents
Gatebil has always been more than a festival. It’s been a platform for motorsport and drivers to develop, for new names to emerge and for audiences to experience drifting and racing at the highest level. For this year’s season finale, we want to reinforce that feeling – to go back to the roots, to the core of what Gatebil is all about:
Driving pleasure: A maximized competition with high quality
Driving time: A lot of driving time for the drivers
Resistance: A starting field that mixes the elite with the drivers of the future
– We want to create a competition that is not only fun to drive, but also an experience for the audience. Gatebil Drift Battle should be intense battles, good driving and at the same time a lot of show for the audience – exactly what makes drifting so unique.
The competition – from qualification to final
For three days, Mantorp Park’s classic Paris loop will be filled with top-class drifting. With both hungry rookies and experienced profiles, the audience can expect fearless battles.

Record-breaking prize pool
An extra carrot for this year’s participants is the record-breaking prize pool of 120,000 SEK. Here is the breakdown:
1st place – 35.000 SEK + guaranteed starting place in Påsksladden 2026 (free entry fee) and free track driving at all Gatebil events throughout 2026.
2ndplace – 20.000 SEK + free track driving at all Gatebil events throughout 2026.
3rdplace – 10.000 SEK
4thplace – 5.000 SEK
In addition to the prize pool, special prizes are also awarded, which has become an important part of the Gatebil Drift Battle. It’s not just results that are rewarded – but also attitude, grit and potential.
- Rookie of the Year – 8 tires from Kenda and a full day in the dyno at Motor Nord (value approximately 17.000)
- 59 North Best Fighting Spirit – a complete drifting kit worth about 22.000 SEK, sponsored by 59 North Wheels.
