On Saturday, 25.05.2024 we had GDB Top16 competition and for the first time in Gatebil’s history we dropped Qualifications! Battles were hard and drivers really gave it all. Some where lucky, some where not, but hey, when the whole Gatebil family is holding an eye on you, it is sometimes really difficult to stay focused!
After the first eight battles we had eight drivers left – Max Vonka, Steffen Tveite, Sondre Bye, Olav Haugen Hasdal, Odd-Helge Helstad, Ole Petter Vatn, Kasper Eidsmo-Sand and Marcus Østby.
From there only four drivers went further – Max Vonka, Olav Haugen Hasdal, Ole Petter Vatn and Kasper Eidsmo-Sand.
In the final it was The newbie Kasper Eidsmo-Sand and Olav Haugen Hasdal that were fighting for the crown – and it was Olav who took it!
