THE BEGINNING ON THIS YEAR GATEBIL SEASON STARTS ON SATURDAY 24TH OF JANUARY AT HEBBES RACING ICE TRACK IN SIGDAL, NORWAY. EVERYONE CAN PARTICIPATE EVEN IF YOU HAVE A STREETCAR, TRACK CAR OR A RACING CAR. MANY PEOPLE PREFER TO COME FOR A LOOK AT FAST CARS DOING ICE RACING AT THE FROZEN LAKE WHILE BEEING IN THE WOODS NEXT TO A WARMING CAMPFIRE.
THERE WILL BE TWO ICE TRACKS
One for normal winter tires and one for rally spikes. The two tracks are more challenging and have a lot of demanding corners and combinations compared to previous years. Drifting, streetcars, rallycars and Gatebil Extreme are welcome.
Cars with rally spikes must have roll cage.
NO PRE-RESERVATION
Two tracks are prepared to let everyone drive as much as they want. Registration at site.
INFO ABOUT PARTICIPANTS
Remember helm, enough fuel, equipped and visible towing hooks, good tires and a car suited for track driving. Cars with rally spikes and roll cage have 15 years age restriction on passengers.
RENT A RALLY CAR OR SNOW MOBILE
Hebbes Racing are renting out Snow Mobiles and Rally Cars (Volvo 940) with ice spikes. Snow Mobiles are driving on a separate track. Rented rally cars are driving on the track for cars with ice spikes.
Prices on renting rally car: 1200,- NOK for 15 min incl helmet. Valid driver license required.
GATEBIL WINTER POWERSLIDE CONTEST 2015 (Snøsprøyten)
On exactly thirteen hundred hours the start on this year “Snøsprøyt” starts, a tradition that have been since Gatebil OnIce was arranged the first time in 2006. The competition are on the track for Ice spikes. Everyone that are registrated for track driving this day can participate. No extra start-up fee.
FOR VISITORS
Bring warm clothes and good shoos. Good friends, food and something warm to drink are recommended. Obvious drunk people are not welcomed to this event and may be excluded.
