The weather was warm, the atmosphere was high, and Gatebil delivered exactly as we knew it would. If you were at Rudskogen this weekend, you already know what happened – and if you weren’t, you can read this:
Super 3
Possibly the most legendary competition at Gatebil. Drifting is epic in its own right – but throwing three drifting cars in synchronized tandem in front of a packed Rudskogen? That’s just goosebumps.
As always, it was the drivers who caused the most excitement. The victory went to Team Optituning, with Ole Peter Vatn, Kasper Eidsmo-Sand and Petter Wåtland – a trio that knows how to put on a real show.

Breisladden
New this year was that the qualification took place on Friday, while the grand finale took place on Saturday. But Mother Nature had planned her own show…
Just as Breisladden was about to start, the skies opened up with rain and thunder. Epic conditions for an epic showdown.
First place? It went to none other than Petter Wåtland.

Gatebil Extreme
the most extreme race at Gatebil? It’s Gatebil Extreme – the festival’s very own high-powered racing series.
And let’s just say that one of the drivers had the weekend of his life. Dennis Bjørklund took victory in both Friday’s Time Attack and Saturday’s Extreme Race #6.
But in Sunday’s Extreme Race #7, the race was hotly contested. After chasing Dennis closely all weekend, Kristian Pettersen took the win and ended the weekend with a bang.

Gatebil Showgarden
lTempoGigante didn’t just make history at Rudskogen, it also took the famous Gatebil Prize at Gatebil Showgarden!
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Norway’s most iconic race car took to the track during the Gatebil Main Festival – and set a lap record at Rudskogen Motorsenter!
This 2.8-ton, V12-powered beast, known from the legendary movie Flåklypa Grand Prix, proved that it’s still got it.
With custom-built, steel-reinforced tires and torque that could topple a mountain, Il Tempo Gigante delivered a performance no one will ever forget – and a record no one will ever break.
