Discover Circuit Meppen
With its 2.7km layout featuring tight turns, off-road trails, and a giant sand pit, Circuit Meppen is designed for motorsport enthusiasts craving variety and excitement.
Relax between the action at two restaurants, a pub, or one of the many bars, with a total capacity for 1,100 guests. Add camping zones to the mix, and you have everything you need for all-day festival vibes.
When the sun goes down, the party kicks off. From live DJs to concerts and high-energy entertainment, Circuit Meppen comes alive at night, making it a destination for unforgettable evenings.
Circuit Meppen is more than a motorsport destination; it’s a place where history and high-octane fun have always come together. Located in the heart of ‘Landkreis Emsland,’ a region known for its beautiful bike trails, this site offers a unique blend of excitement, history, and standout features.
Originally a gas and coal-fired power plant, the circuit is steeped in history. Its iconic cooling tower, covered with the largest world map in the world, stands as a Guinness World Record achievement, painted with an astonishing 5,600 liters of paint. Today, Circuit Meppen is operated by Driving-Fun.com, one of Europe’s largest track day organizers, ensuring every visit is packed with professional and thrilling experiences.

After a day of intense racing, the fun continues with After Track on Friday and Saturday nights. Expect amazing live concerts, DJ performances, and unforgettable entertainment. Access is open to all festival ticket holders over 18.

Gatebil Powerslide
The legendary Powerslide competition (“Breisladd” in Norwegian) is what Gatebil started with: Who can perform the smokiest, wildest, full throttle powerslide in a long sweeping corner?
Always a fan favorite with the crowd, the Powerslide competition is where you’ll see all kinds of cars (both 2WD and 4WD), ranging from street vehicles to full blown drift cars, driven by both professionals and amateurs – going all-in to see who’s the best. You are warned – the track will get smoked out!

The Big Entry Show
A high speed drift entry layout chosen by our own drifting World Champion Fredric Aasbø, and a hand-picked selection of bad ass drivers & cars in a high-intensity show focused on backwards entries and very aggressive drifting. With a live DJ and running commentary by the judges, the goal is to pick the People’s Champion – whoever wins the crowd will also win this new and exciting drift competition.
For the spectators, the Big Entry Show is the perfect pre-party for the Aftertrack activities at Gatebil.

Team Tandem
“Team Tandem” is a new form of twin drifting that creates much closer tandem runs than what is typically seen in traditional drift battles. Instead of the lead car trying to gap the chase car, Team Tandem puts the two cars on the same team – and they work together to perform the tightest twin drift runs possible.
20 two-car teams will be eliminated to 6 and then to 3 in the finals. Be prepared for a breathtaking show of sideways car control, finesse and teamwork where the best drift drivers rub doors all the way from start to finish.

GATEBIL EXTREME
Let’s go racing! In cars that are too wild to be allowed anywhere else… The Extreme racing heats at Gatebil have it all: From pro race cars and pro drivers, to garage-built monsters driven by enthusiastic amateurs that often beat the pros at their own game.
Gatebil Extreme is the opposite of spec racing: We encourage diversity and a run-what-you-brung mentality, with few technical limitations and regulations. The crazier, the better!
