There are millions of people in the automotive worldwide community, but there are only few that we can name with such a great influence to all of us. I don’t believe there are many people around Gatebil, that has not seen at least one Ken Block / Hoonigan video. Even though our dream never came true, and Ken never visited Gatebil, we want to thank him for the inspiration, passion and style he brought into our world and send condolences to his close friends and family.
Ken Block in the full name Kenneth Paul Block (November 21, 1967 – January 2, 2023) was an American professional rally driver with the Hoonigan Racing Division, formerly known as the Monster World Rally Team. Block was also one of the co-founders of DC Shoes. He also competed in many action sports events, including skateboarding, snowboarding, and motocross. After selling his ownership of DC Shoes, Block shifted his business focus to Hoonigan Industries, an apparel brand for auto enthusiasts.
