When the Gatebil Season Finale takes place at Mantorp Park on September 5-7, it’s not just the track that’s buzzing with activity.
In the middle of the festival area, we find the Gatebil Showgarden, where the cars shine, the lights dance and where both the audience and participants get to enjoy experiences beyond the ordinary. Together with ARN Racing, a car show is created that is so much more than just a place to exhibit your vehicle – here things happen all weekend.
How low can you go?
No Gatebil Showgarden without what has now become a classic – the limbo competition. The rules are simple: lowest wins. All participants are welcome to join in, and no pre-registration is required. The audience? Yes, they are there! On Saturday at 13.00, the bar will be lowered – literally – and you can test how low you and your car can go.
Parade
Saturday continues with one of the highlights of the weekend – the parade on the track. All cars in the Showgarden will have the opportunity to drive out on Mantorp Park’s classic track in front of packed stands. The parade is held just before the Extreme Shootout and Gatebil Drift Battle starts, which makes it a spectacular setting for both participants and spectators.
Showgarden sets the mood as darkness falls
Unique to the Gatebil Season Finale, the Showgarden is transformed into a light show on Saturday evening. As the sun goes down, spotlights, neon and special effects are turned on to create a magical atmosphere. It’s an experience that makes the Season Finale something special – and it looks as good live as it does on camera.
Compete for prestigious prizes
Showgarden is not just about showing off your car – it’s also a competition. Several prizes will be awarded over the weekend, including the People’s Choice, where the audience votes for their favorite. Other awards to compete for include Best Stance, Rolling Art and Best in Showgarden.
The most prestigious titles, the ARN Racing Award and Gatebil Award, will be presented on the Saturday evening during the Gatebil Aftertrack, while the other awards will be presented at the Gatebil Shop on the Sunday.
