A car event that takes it back to the roots!
Drifting, car show, and music all day long!
We invite you to this year’s car event, where we’re going “back to the roots” with intense driving and great vibes in the true spirit of *Fast & Furious*!
There are two types of competitions here and plenty of fun for everyone:
– Norway’s best drifters compete for “Team Tandem” glory in grassroots cars (max 350 hp)
– You can participate with your own car in “Freestyle Drift,” where you get 30 seconds to show what you can do (helmet and car in good technical condition required). There are no power limits or car type requirements here — bring whatever you’ve got – fun, exotic cars are encouraged!
– Car show, live DJ sets, open pit, food, drinks – and a fun afterparty at the Skjærgårdshagen aircraft hangar!
– And best of all: The audience decides who wins the drift competitions!
Come as you are — with or without a car — and join us for this year’s big event!
BIG NEWS: This year, you can join in the fun with “Storbonden” Martin Amundrød at Solkysten Farming, sleeping over at his farm and attending the afterparty on Saturday night at Skjærgårdshagen!

On August 15th, it’s happening in Helgeroa, just outside Larvik. Fredric Aasbø & friends are putting on a show for the whole family – with music, food, good times and a solid afterparty!
TEAM TANDEM: Drift cars in pairs (350 hp)
Team Tandem is an all-out drifting competition for the best drivers in grassroots cars with a maximum of 350 horsepower. Here, we’re going “back to the roots,” and the goal is the best possible tandem and making sure the best drivers (and not the most expensive cars) win!
The below registration link is for registering drivers and cars. Both members of each team must register.
Due to high demand, the organizers reserve the right to limit the number of participants.
Competition Format: Two drivers and two cars drifting in tandem as a team. We’re looking for about 20 teams (a total of 40 cars and drivers) to compete for the audience — because yes, it’s the audience who vote for the winners! Here, you and a partner need to be as in sync as possible.
Requirements: Rear-wheel-drive drift car with a maximum of 350 hp. Any type of tire is permitted. It is recommended that the cars have at least a half-roll cage, racing seats, and racing belts. A technical inspection of the cars will be conducted. Passengers are not permitted during the competition. Drivers are required to wear protective gear (helmet, racing suit, and gloves). Unfortunately, we do not have approval to allow juniors to participate. We are particularly strict about leaks, so please do everything you can to prevent them, and we also require tarps under the cars in the pit area.

FREESTYLE DRIFT: Bring whatever car you have — and show us what you’ve got! (One car at a time)
Freestyle Drift is YOUR CHANCE to show off your car to the crowd and kick up some blue smoke — whether it’s a two-wheel-drive, four-wheel-drive, classic car, “drift car,” or modern sports car. Each car gets 30 seconds to show what it can do, and the audience then gives a score. Maybe you’ll become the crowd favorite and win the title of Freestyle Drift Champion 2026!
It’s important to point out here that it’s all about charming the audience—which is why a Fiat Panda has just as much of a chance of winning as a Funny Car dragster.
This page is for registering drivers and vehicles.
Due to high demand, the organizers reserve the right to limit the number of participants.
Competition Format: One car gets the entire “burnout ring” at its disposal for 30 seconds to show what it’s capable of (no stationary burnouts—the car must be moving to protect the asphalt). The audience then gives a score, and the audience favorites get to drive up to three times until we’re left with a winner!
Requirements: No typical drift cars — this is meant for the “average person on the street” as well as for pro drivers in rare, iconic race cars (rally, racing, 4WD, pickup trucks, exotic cars, etc.). We’d like to see some cool, unique street-legal cars (but rally cars, dragsters, unregistered classics, etc., are also okay). There are no specific car requirements (anything goes) as long as the vehicle is in good technical condition. Drivers of road cars must wear helmets, and race cars must be equipped with full racing gear. Passengers are allowed in the car as long as they are wearing the same racing gear as the driver.
